The plant is a major supplier of wax blends for use in rubber and tire manufacturing, PVC pipe industry as well as curtain coating for the corrugate industry with customers spanning the Western US, Canada and Mexico. This locations contains three pastillation belts and five slabbing machines. The Richmond location also has an emulsion blending plant which produces products for a variety of specific applications. Richmond, CA (USA) is located adjacent to one of the West Coast wax terminals. Baytown can also handle drummed product, including petrolatums and highly viscous wax materials. Two “Sandvik belts” produce wax in pastille/pellet form, with packaging in bags or super sacks.
